Delegates from the Kaalspruit Catchment Technical Mission will be visiting ERWAT’s Olifantsfontein Water Care Works for a technical site tour as part of the World Bank and National Treasury technical site visit to the Olifantsfontein Wastewater Treatment Works.
The Ekurhuleni Water Care Company (ERWAT) is participating in the Kaalspruit Catchment Site Walk – the first activity under the Resilient Kaalspruit Programme, a collaborative initiative led by the National Treasury Cities Support Programme (CSP) with support from the World Bank.
The visit aims to provide delegates with practical insight into ERWAT’s wastewater treatment operations, innovative technologies, and sustainable water management practices, showcasing the organisation’s contribution to advancing water security and sanitation excellence in South Africa and beyond.
